Acceptance
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Meffi mobile application and related services (the “Service”) provided by Meffi Team (“Meffi”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1) Eligibility (17+)
The Service is intended for users aged 17 and older. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 17 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2) The Service
Meffi helps you set goals and track progress through features such as milestones, weekly/monthly progress summaries, progress visualization, reflection prompts, and tailored insights.
We may add, modify, or remove features at any time, and we do not guarantee that any feature will always be available.
3) Accounts
3.1 Account registration
You may need to create an account to use certain parts of the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact dqgooarhlf1907@outlook.com.
4) Your Content
4.1 User Content
The Service may allow you to submit, store, or generate content such as goals, notes, reflections, text, or images (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content as between you and Meffi.
4.2 License to operate the Service
You grant Meffi a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for technical purposes such as formatting), and display your User Content solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Service and as otherwise permitted by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
4.3 Responsibility
You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring you have the rights to submit it. You agree not to submit content that violates the law or infringes the rights of others.
5) Acceptable Use
- Do not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or systems.
- Do not interfere with or disrupt the Service (including introducing malware).
- Do not reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where prohibited by law.
- Do not use the Service to create, upload, or distribute illegal or harmful content.
- Do not violate the privacy or rights of others.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service and other users.
6) AI / Generated Content Features (If Available)
The Service may offer optional features that generate or transform content based on user-provided inputs (“AI Features”).
7) Intellectual Property
The Service (excluding User Content), including software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Meffi or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted in writing.
8) Third-Party Services
The Service may interact with third-party services (for example, platform services provided by Apple or crash/analytics tooling). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms and policies.
9) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access as described above.
Certain provisions survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution.
10) Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meffi disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content or outputs will be accurate.
11) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meffi will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meffi’s total liability for all claims will not exceed the amount you paid to Meffi for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or USD $10 if you have not paid any amount), whichever is greater.
12) Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Meffi and its affiliates from and against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13) Governing Law and Dispute Resolution (Binding Arbitration)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Meffi’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict of laws rules.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action, except where prohibited by law.
Nothing prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights or prevent unauthorized access or misuse.
14) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
